About the project
AGC Trader is an equity-based trading project that trades stocks automatically using rules-based strategies
across multiple timeframes and a diversified watchlist of stocks. The strategies are back-tested and
reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the project owner, who is a trader, provides input on how they are run.
- Rules-based: trades are triggered by defined strategy signals.
- Back-tested: strategies are tested against historical data and reviewed regularly. Back-tested results are not a guide to future results.
- Risk management: position sizes are based on account equity and capped, and stop-losses (including trailing stops) are used to limit the risk on each trade. Losses can still occur.
- Trader input: the owner also places discretionary trades alongside the automated signals.
Other markets, such as forex and commodities, may be explored in future. Nothing is promised.
